Senior Workshop

Senior Workshop is my senior capstone course to integrate and apply my studies as a Communications Studies Major. Four other students and I developed and created a workshop on small talk, an often overlooked skill needed to be successful and have better quality of life. The workshop was an interactive experience where we prepared a workbook and taught students how to develop small talk skills regardless of their personality. After the workshop, we presented to the faculty of the COMS department an overview of our workshop and our research we conducted from measures and scales we gave before and after the workshop. Finally, we each wrote a final paper encompassing all the factors and research of this workshop. You can view my final paper in the Senior Workshop sub tab underneath the Portfolio tab. I am pleased to share we received an A on the entire project, were awarded Best Workshop Design, and received feedback from our participants that the workshop was helpful overall with small talk.
